Lip Balm Anonymous (thanks Chooch) - This classic website has been out there since at least 1995 teaching people about the dangers of lip balm. Light-hearted but too buried in obsessive information to see its own joke. Any time a celebrity mentions chapstick or lip balm in the media, this site is there to record the quotation.
The December 1997 issue of US magazine features an interview with actress Winona Ryder. The article mentions that she uses lip balm and even says that Chap Stick is her favorite brand. First Johnny Depp and now this! Stop now, Winona, before you destroy your career.
With the exception of a few updates to the sites first page, Lip Balm Anonymous seems like a time capsule of late 1998 Internet humor. Such simple and happy times those were.
