Ever wonder what would happen if Mario Kart lost every fun and important feature? Well what if all the classic Nintendo characters were replaced by bizarre anime creatures? If you said "OH GOD YES!" to either of these questions, you are in luck because I am reviewing Kart Rider! I don't think I have seen such a blatant rip off and bastardization of a game in my life so I will compare Kart Rider to the once beloved Mario Kart (Nintendo 64 version to be fair).

I believe we are witnessing another video game surge much like that of the late 70s and early 80s. Back then any and every company would produce the most unplayable piece of crap just to turn a quick buck. MMOs are the new quick buck and each and every one of them tend to suck (I seriously wasn't trying to make that rhyme). Sure, some are more popular but in the end, MMOs are the lowest common denominator in gaming. No exception could be made of Kart Rider which has made me never want to play Mario Kart ever again.

Oh wait the camera angle is completely different! My mistake!

Though the similarities (see: rip off) are mind numbingly obvious, there are some differences that are important to note.
