Friendship is honestly one of the things I value most in life. I honestly have no idea where I'd be without my friends... and you all know who you are. I think a friendship is started and build in part on just empathy alone. You know, not "I feel for you" but "I feel you" -- in a very non-creepy way, of course. You just know where the other person comes from. You share some of their views and you can relate. It's, well, for lack of a better word, nice. And then you get to start to know them better. It's FRESH! It's NEW! And it of course feels good that someone wants to talk to you more and get to know you more in general. Once you get closer to someone, you start to trust them, and I think this is really, really important. Trust in friendship is absolutely vital. Trust and honesty both.
