Remember "Wake Up Your Cat"? Maybe not, it's been a while. If so, thank you for sticking with Comedy Goldmine! Here's an update for you: The originator of that theme, David Thorpe, remains close with cats. In fact, just this morning I saw him holding a three-legged cat, and in an affectionate way, not a bullying "can't touch the ground, can you, Three Legs?!" way. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the Internet's obsession with cats started with that update. But the SA Forums have been leaning toward dogs lately, so the Goons revived the theme and made it canine-centric!
