Wow, who could forget Dr. Mario? In a time when we were all coming down from Tetris-mania, this fun puzzle game from Nintendo taught us matching colors could be just as fun as matching shapes. And those rascally little viruses sure made up a gang of baddies you just couldn't wait to defeat! Sadly, the miracle drugs Dr. Mario dispensed were not available to me during that infamous weekend, when a bad case of gangrene quickly turned my father's leg into what looked like a sad, grey chicken thigh. Thankfully, when the fever set in and my father started to go on long, howling, profanity-laden rants about my mother and myself, I was able to hum that catchy soundtrack and nearly drown him out. PROTIP: Don't forget to go for those combos!
