One popular fan theory about Pokémon is that it takes place after an apocalyptic war or it's all a coma dream or some shit. Is that what the SA Forum Goons had in mind while making these Pokémon/war mashups? Who knows! Probably not. Not everything has to happen for some kind of deep reason.
