Zap Dramatic, submitted by John_A_Tallon. Zapdramatic is one of the best sites on the Internet. I'm not afraid to say it. The site showcases the crazy and horrible interactive Flash stories of Michael Gibson, in particular a three part "mystery" game called "Ambition".

Ambition Episode One: "The Suicide Bomber"

In episode 1, "The Suicide Bomber" you will advise a police officer on the best way to disarm an emotionally disturbed father.

Episode One is a strong beginning for the epic saga of Ambition, with disgruntled dad "Ted" appearing in an office with a bomb strapped to his chest and demanding to see his wife or he'll "blow us all to hell". It's a good thing the clip of "Or I'll blow us all to hell" is so amusing, since he says it roughly thirty times in this episode alone. Don't worry the clip makes a comeback in the next episode. I couldn't beat this one because I enjoyed shooting Ted too much as his hilariously protracted death sequence was very satisfying.

Ambition Episode Two: "The Hitch-hiker"

In episode 2, "The Hitch-hiker" you have to advise either Helen or Yale in their marital dispute which becomes more complicated when Ted jumps in the car.

Episode Two is definitely the high point of the Ambition saga. All of the hot hits like "Blow us all to hell" put in appearance, and the scene in which Helen and Yale pick up Ted is one of the greatest moments in flash film history. They are arguing in the car and Ted is standing in the middle of the road with a bomb strapped to his chest. Yale wants to stop and pick him up, Helen wants to keep going. She seizes the wheel and Ted is launched onto the hood of the car. He proceeds to climb over the windshield and into the back seat, thanking them for stopping. Then Helen and Yale continue arguing as if nothing had happened. It's realistic drama like that moment that really draws you into Ambition.

Ambition Episode Three: "The Psychological Assessment"

In episode 3, "The Psychological Assessment" you have to interview Ted and decide whether or not he is criminally insane.

By far the worst of the three episodes, you play a psychologist who is analyzing Ted to decide whether or not he is criminally insane. I don't know, making suicide bomb threats twice might be a pretty good indi-fucking-cation. It makes even less sense than the other two because Ted can beat the crap out of you if you "provoke" him, and fucking everything provokes Ted.

If you have a good half hour and enjoy laughing at bad acting, insane plots events, and bad animation, then I highly suggest you take the time to play through Ambition.
