A diptych. The image on the left is north side of the tower, the image on the right is on the south side. I took this set while I was actually homeless, living in the back of my car in 2010.
I wasn't even a quarter way up this tower. These are enormous and they're studded across Australia. I went no higher because I was concerned about the repeaters and radiation burns. They do long stroke beeps you can hear the closer you get to them, and they get louder and louder the further up the structure. The sounds they make sound very space-like and dreamy, and the red colour of the ground is the flashing beacons reflecting off the ground.
