Anyone remember Wave Race 64? This early N64 game helped prove the power of Nintendo's new system, and gave a generation of gamers some high-octane action on the open seas. I can't go into water anymore, but I'm sure its take on the wet stuff still holds up today! It almost makes me wish my dad and I had more than just a rickety boat and an outboard motor to help steer us through the rapids we accidentally ended up in so long ago. More than 20 years later, Wave Race 64 still captures the spirit of being strapped to a super-rad jet ski and not a fragile watercraft your inexperienced father rented from a guy named Ted. I still call him every day even though he blocked my number in 2002!
