Steve: The conquest of space looks an awful lot like somebody throwing meatballs at a shoe.

Zack: Nebulae with a chance of meatballs.

Steve: Liftwood is just a metaphor for the spirit of 19th century invention. Anything is possible when your wooden ship is lifted through the sky by the need to see amazing spectacles and tame savage aliens.

Zack: Similar to the metaphor of cocaine used in Scarface. I hope the story ends with Chauncy Dinglebottom with a giant pile of liftwood sawdust on his desk and some sort of Tesla ray in his hands.

Zack: "You would trifle with me? Bully! You would care to scrap? Very well, sir! Say how is that to my diminutive comrade!"
