Tell Me About Dealing With Social Ineptitude Due to Asperger Syndrome - This week's featured thread is a blockbuster of delusion and digust! Originally posted in the Ask/Tell forum and moved around several times until resting here at TGD, ZephMercurial's horrible attention-whoring tale of woe and lard is the only thread you need this week. The combination of the original thread and the Helldump counterpart making fun of it has revealed a lot about our so-called Aspergian thread maker.

Asperger's Syndrome is a form of autism that asocial Internet nerds love to diagnose themselves with. It provides a biological reason for why you can't make friends, and for every person who legitimately has Asperger's, there are dozens who claim to have a "mild" form of it, or only certain aspects of the disease. Don't bother checking Wikipedia for more information because that whole site is Asperger's Hell (or 'Pergatory, if you will).

Back to ZephMercurial (pictured above), who is just another goon wanting to discuss the disease she's so certain she has. She isn't self-diagnosed, but her parents did nag a psychologist long enough that he eventually gave her the dreaded scarlet A. She thinks the disease makes her a better person, maybe because one of the symptoms these people commonly share is above-average IQ. But even if she did have the syndrome, it couldn't possibly explain away any number of terrible qualities she maintains (culled entirely from Wikipedia userboxes):
