I invited your regular ALOD writer Daryl "Fucking" Hall to write a promo blurb about The Best of NaNoWriMo, the Tumblr he compiles along with Löwenäffchen and fellow SA contributor Satellite High. But it seems he's too busy responding to/basking in coverage from Gawker and the A/V Club to promote his site so the press could learn about it! I picked out some of my favorite screencaps but pretty much everything they grabbed from the NaNoWriMo forums is golden! (Not to be confused with this weird NaNoWriMo-related "golden mustache" thing that apparently exists!)
